Conference Bowl Showdown 2013-2014

It's time for our annual College Football Conference Bowl Showdown where we find out which conference is really the best.  Not really, but it is  interesting to see which conferences fair better against their non-conference opponents. Especially now that the conferences are so large that it leaves very little room for good inter-conference games in the pre conference schedule.

A few questions before we look at the records. How does the ACC have 10 teams in bowls? Will the Big 10 lose every game? Why are the SEC and Big 10 almost exclusively playing each other?  Why is the PAC 12 playing a bunch of teams from mid-majors?

Analysis:

Baylor laid an egg.

The Big 10 won 2 games! Wow, of course one of them was against Georgia, so does that really count?  Georgia is inventing new ways to lose games.

The SEC is dominating, too bad it doesn't count because its mostly against Big 10 teams and Duke.

Texas had no business playing Oregon, terrible matchup and everyone knew it.

How badly will Saban curb stomp Big Game Bob tonight in the OU v Alabama game? Turns out it wasn't badly at all. Shocker of the bowl season thus far!
